junk

March 27th, 2006 by admin

I’ve been organizing all of my stuff today. I have half of my parents basement full of endless boxes of junk. I’ve been on a quest lately to get rid of lots of it, or make it useful. It’s all neat junk. It’s all sentimental junk. It’s all wonderfully unique and charming, but it’s become quite a task to manage and maintain it, and frankly, I want me life to be more about having adventures than sorting through relics of them. This being said, it is a fun time for me to look through stacks of songs and poetry that I’ve written (and abandoned), framed pictures of junior high crushes (I still love you Quinton!), and long-forgotten photo booth pictures. This is me and my sister, Julia in Seattle. It must have been six years ago. We drove over to see Jewel at the Puyallup fair. Steve Poltz opened for her and they sang, “you were meant for me” together. *grin* It’s funny the things that you remember. We are eating panini sandwiches, they were great. =)
I have so much more to do!
