You can always tell what’s important to someone by observing how she spends her time. Time is my most precious resource because with it, I can gain every other resource I stand in need of: knowledge, money, strength, perspective, relationships…etc. I hate wasting time. I haven’t watched television for months and months. I usually need to be doing more than one thing at a time to feel productive. I eat in my car, make art at school, write shopping lists as I’m waiting tables, and open my mail as I’m walking Bruno. So it’s surprising that this last week I spent a good 4 hours playing Guitar Hero, 7 hours watching movies, and a few hours simply staring googly-eyed at a beautiful man named Garth. The more surprising part is I enjoyed every moment, and none of it feels wasted. =) Two weeks ago my Saturday to-do list was full of baking, projects to finish, errands to run, and laundry to do. This coming Saturday there’s only one way I want to spend my time that won’t seem wasted. (for those of you who have never been googly-eyed that would be any activity in a six foot radius of mr. awesome) What a difference two weeks have made. *blush*
