The wedding preparations are advancing very well. There are all kinds of making going on here…today found us working on tableclothes, sundaes, and lots and lots of hair plans (should my sister Julia cut hers short?). This morning this house feels quiet.
For the past week my entire family has been residing under this roof (that’s 16 of us…plus some extras!) enjoying the odd year Trumbull family reunion. We had lots of great food, jumped on the trampoline, watched a movie projected onto the pump house, and floated down the river. [...]

I am proud to report that the Hawker family hoopfest team has a spotless defeated record for the 11th year in a row (because can you really count the times when the other team fails to show up as wins? no, I don’t think so…)
