I woke up this morning to the wonderful sound of the persistant Florida rain pounding on our windows. I love that sound. The rain here is magical. I enjoyed it for about 15 seconds before I remembered that I had left my convertable top down last night. I uttered something loudly in my uninteligable morning voice, and Garth and I both sprang out of bed and frantically armed ourselves with hoodies and shoes. I ended up splashing down the driveway in a yellow flip-flop of mine and a leather flip-flop of Garth’s. When I had the windows rolled up and the top just about up Garth came running down the driveway in his bare feet to help me…he wasn’t able to find his other flip-flop….. =)

Garth has the day off, so we’ve been sewing, drinking hot chocolate, snacking on leftovers in the fridge, and watching movies.
