I can’t stop making pom poms. Back in December I wanted to make some to use as a garland to decorate the bare fireplace in my bare living room in my bare home and I found this tutorial. Since then I find myself with yarn in my hand whenever I’m watching TV or eating breakfast. I’m even tempted to take my big ol’ basket o’ poms with me in the car. Garth hasn’t been able to watch a movie in weeks without hearing the rhythmic metalic slice of my scissors next to him. I’ve made hundreds.

I make them into these garlands. I like to change them with the seasons. Does that explain this obsession?
