There is a stranger in my belly. We invited him over, but it still rather surreal to have him take up so much of my personal space- especially when we haven’t even been properly introduced! In striving to make a connection with the little person inside of me, and to ease the overwhelming anxiety over the changes that are coming, I put myself to making. It’s a daily activity for me…but these things were made specifically for little Jack Danger, and his care and feeding. I hope he comes out to play soon.
I updated the cover on a baby lounger. The plastic clips broke when I was sewing so I had to redo them with buttons and it makes all of the difference in he world! So charming- I hope Jack likes it so we can use it all of the time!
Booties that I made months ago from this vintage pattern and scraps from vintage dress blues.
A baby changing mat and wet bag that I made from a super fun whale raincoat that I couldn’t part with, even though it was slightly too small.
And, a journal for Jack. Well, for me to and Garth to write to Jack. I made it from a thrifted book. =)
There are lots more, but they’ll be addressed when I update you on the list in the next few days.
Still waiting….
