This quilt was made for my most super dearest friend, Anna, to give to her sister for the birth of her daughter, Maci Noel. I used remnants of lots of projects for the blocks on front and some uber cute crab fabric that I picked up at JoAnn’s long ago. The binding is extra large bias tape that I made from vintage sheets. I machine quilted it in these traced squares- the whole quilt is (or could have been I suppose, since I ran off the edges a few times) quilted with a single line that snakes upon itself over and over. Lots of turning on the old sewing machine! I really adore how it turned out though…I’ll have to do one like this for me. It’s on it’s way to SoCal, where I wish I was breathing…

I really think you should have that baby on monday…Its a really good day to have a baby…and guess what im going to be 30 freek’in years old on monday…what a great gift to give me…good luck with everything….
