hiya friends. Lots going on here. And even more will be happening shortly! First, what we’ve been up to:
I had a great 30th birthday. Garth brought me breakfast in bed and later put an extra large and wide seat on my bicycle (I had to promise to not be offended). He was also able to swing the night off so he could take me out to eat. yay Red Robin!
I kicked off my year 30 project. This year, from birthday to birthday, I’ll be photographing my breakfast each morning.
I’ve been busy with two farmer’s markets around town.
Garth brought his piano this Saturday and played. It made the time fly by so fast and it was so lovely! He even let me sit with him and sing.
We went to a John Michael Montgomery concert for NAS Pensacola and a local radio station sponsored. As you can see it was super hot, but it was really fun to hear live so many songs from my high school days.
And of course, Jack is super cute and we are loving watching him try to sit up on his own, eat his entire fist, and say, “gorilla”. He delights us everyday.
And what’s coming up for us?
In a few short days we’ll be leaving for my hometown, Spokane, WA, for my only sister’s wedding (yay! Julia and Cody!) and our 12th Hoopfest! I am so excited! I miss my family so much living all the way across the nation and we’ll all be together this time! (all 19 of us!) So that means some serious making here for me in these last few days…a matron of honor dress, bow ties, and hoopfest shirts. I am so in my element. =)
And, it’s like 100 degrees here. Bring on the Washington, please.

I’m glad you are doing so well with your various projects. You always did seem to do well even with a lot of stuff to do all at once. You are the queen of multi tasking. That’s exciting about Julia give her a hug for me along with the rest of your family. I sure do miss them all.
I’m seriously going to have to come up to the farmers market and see your stuff. And you have twister sheets (I think…). Anyway I used to have some. Awesome!

LOVE your blog! Can’t get enough of it! I also got an extra wide seat for my bike

I started riding to work and that little seat on there was sure making me hurt in places that I don’t wish to hurt.
