Dear Seven-month-old-Jackie-man

November 4th, 2009 by admin

Mr Jack

You sure got alot more liquidy this month. We will very often find drool, milk, and snot dripping from your face, You sure get upset when we try to wipe it away. We gave you your first graham cracker and soon realized that it was the messiest thing we could have given you. 15 minutes later we had to tortue you with a wet wipe to clean your ears, your hair, your neck, your eyes, your nose, and everything within your reach (including my hair- you love getting gooey stuff into my hair). We have since only given you Cheerios, in a well controlled environment.

We went to a picnic, we wore matching outfits, and had our first adventure on the park swing. You love it. You could sit there are swing all day long.

The best thing we did this month though was attend the Navy Birthday Ball together. You were the only baby there and we made baby dress whites for you. Dad got you some dolphins and gave you a good conduct medal. You were the hit of the party. The dj even asked us what your favorite song was (he didn’t have big and chunky), and dedicated the chicken dance to you. You danced until you just couldn’t handle it anymore.

You also were very patient while I worked on a gazillion costumes for people around the world. You even helped me with the sizing.

We love you little man. We feel lucky and blessed and priveledged to call you ours and that we get to spend our days and nights with you. There are so many more magical times ahead Mr Danger.

I can’t believe he’s that old all ready…how time flies. I am so happy for you guys that he is a part of your family. I love that picture of your family at the ball…his dress whites are so cute.
