I just made these today and I love them! Long ago I purchased a journal made from a woolly willy game, so I can’t take credit for the idea- but I did gather this little collection of vintage and new games.

We’ll be showing them off at Pensacola’s Earth Day celebration tomorrow- where we’ll be vending journals and bow ties and hoping that the thunderstorms hold off until the event is over (70% chance of rain and a severe weather warning for the afternoon? Doesn’t look so great for a nice afternoon in the park). If you’re local and don’t want to brave the possible hail tomorrow we’ll also be at the opening of the Palafox Market on May first right in the heart of downtown.

And, a quick look through my archives found that I’ve posted almost every year on April 23rd- with the exception of last year- and what was I writing about? Making art, baking a cake, being in love, sewing, and being a Mom. Thanks goodness the best things stay the same.
