Happy Birthday Mr Awesome!

January 5th, 2010 No Comments

Garth is 31 today. He is such a super person, and that makes me one lucky girl. He woke up this morning on his birthday, made Jack a bottle, then let me sleep in and brought me hot chocolate in bed. Gosh, if only everyday was his birthday!
love you, Mr. Awesome.

happy Christmas

December 31st, 2009 No Comments

It was awesome. Jack now has a playroom full of toys that sing and wiggle and light up, thanks to his wonderful grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins (and Santa!). Hope you all had the best Christmas yet!
Also hoping that you’re enjoying this last sliver of 2009.
see you next year,
elle

No stuffed “I’m bannanas for you!” bright red monkeys here (although I was caught in line behind dozens of people last night purchasing them- I just needed some butter!). I didn’t purchase something for Garth this year…we sure value making here in the elle & gee world and so I spent last night and [...]

holiday rewind

I am one lucky girl. I celebrated Christmas twice this year.
In Pensacola, Garth and I rode our bikes around our neighborhood on Christmas Eve looking at all of the Christmas lights and broadcasting Christmas music. I was wearing shorts. Garth made a fort in the living room and we cuddled inside and [...]
