My beautiful sister, Julia, came to visit me this week for her spring break. We walked on the beach, dined out, went shopping, went sightseeing, and stayed up late at night laughing and sewing. The week was so busy that she didn’t have time to make banana bread from the two rotten bananas in my freezer that I’ve been saving for months for that purpose. I don’t mind. I just wish that spring break could have been two weeks long…it’s been so wonderful to have her here. She is the best sister in the world.
None of you stopped by today to hear that bit of news. Most of you are here in hopes that I’ll spill some juicy bit of sugar about my new beau. and I will. eventually.

for now though, I just need to enjoy what’s happening without exploiting and analyzing it. I just need to squeeze him and make him chaperone high school dances with me, and relish the opportunities to learn more about him everyday.
